The Consulate General of India, Houston, Shri D.C. Manjunath and Mrs. Arpana Manjunath, graciously hosted members of the Indian Muslim Association of Greater Houston (IMAGH) to commemorate Ramadan with an Iftar gathering at the Consulate. The event saw the attendance of members from various Indian Muslim organizations, the Indian Cultural Center (ICC), and representatives from the Indonesian and Qatari Consulates, among others.
A dedicated prayer room was made available for attendees to perform Namaz before breaking their fast. Latafath Husain, representing IMAGH, expressed gratitude towards the Consulate General for organizing such a meaningful evening. His sentiment was echoed by other speakers, who highlighted the strong bonds between Indian Muslims and their heritage in India. In his address, the Consulate General emphasized the theme of unity within diversity.
The evening concluded with a lavish dinner, providing an opportunity for lively interactions among all participants, fostering a sense of community and cultural connection.
